Our 1st Professional Exam

21-23 AUGUST 2017
Our 3rd and 4th semesters have become a lot tougher than 1st year, of course :") With a lot of credit hours have been added to the timetable really drive us crazy haha. Total credit hour for year 2 are 28 + 23 = 51. Pengsann ! haha not really...~
1st Professional exam is actually the theory knowledge that we've learned in this 2 years and combined it in 1 paper. Blast.. ! 1 day for MCQ+SBA, 1 day for MEQ, 1 day for OSPE.
The exam has no gap and the struggle was real haha. We only had 2 weeks for study week, and all I can do was just go through all the notes ( especially anatomy, pathology and pharmacology for me), and revise the past year questions that I've done before this.
Because I'm not mastering CVS pharmacology in semester 3, in this 2 weeks I tried so hard to digest and remember the drugs, mechanism of action and its side effects, fuuhh ~
Maybe you get confused how we can target the topic for this pro exam. Hmm, actually, we just have to focus on what the doctors were emphasizing and keep repeating the same questions and topics during the past 1 month because most probably the questions are based on the topics. Basically, MEQ are easy to target because we can study it based on cases in PBL or in finals, while MCQ is widely ranged so it based on how much you read&remember and how much you do the exercises.
For OSPE, some of the questions are come from our last finals and some are from past years. Several questions that I can't forget are from pharmacology which are 'sepapan' Albendazole and oral contraceptive tablet was placed on the table and the question is asking what is this ? and what is the uses for the drugs ? :"D I don't know why this tablet stick in my mind haha
You know what, I just think that all the questions that we can answer sometimes on luck and rezqi from Allah because you couldn't expect more from our small brain to remember all things, thanks to Allah :)
After finishing the last paper : OSPE, we already finished this killer paper at once ! We all feel so relieved, fuuhh Alhamdulillah~
But Dr. Hameed just mention mention this before we go out from exam hall " This evening, I will inform you who will get the VIVA for tomorrow, only the lowest and highest student will come tomorrow " *urghh doctor, please don't spoil our mood right now pleaseeee, and everybody, like always, will pray silently that ourselves will not get the VIVA because we want to go back now ! haha and only can enjoy our semester break for only 2 weeks :""") what a pity ~

After we finished and celebrated it with bowling that evening(because I wasn't expecting to go for VIVA because I think I was not good enough for it), Dr. Hameed announced the name list for VIVA at 5 p.m.
3 names were shortlisted : Affiena, Hanis and Me ?!What the......
Umi Nadia already pass the distinction, but 3 of us will sit for the VIVA to get the distinction, because we just get B+ I think. The rest can go home and enjoy their holiday already (huhu :"( )
I don't know what to read that night because the VIVA test will be held tomorrow morning.
